Today I realized I had some apples I needed to use before they went bad. My kids love apples, but since they are still young, they have difficulty swallowing them.
So, this time I decided to make an Apple Crumble with Oats.
Easy for them to eat and delicious.
I know the name sounds complicated and hard to make, but believe it or not, it takes less than 30 minutes. Quick recipes are my thing.
This Apple Crumble with Oats recipe has a little bit of almond flour, and that different ingredient gives it a unique and amazing taste.
Also, as you already know, my little princess is allergic to eggs, and this recipe is perfect. It is egg-free; that way, she can also enjoy a delicious dessert with the rest of us.
Happy Baking!!!

My favorite apple dessert! Granny Smith apples give the perfect balance of sweet & tart.
Hello Bailey! I’m so happy to hear it’s your favorite apple dessert. Thank you for sharing your love for the recipe! 😊
Easy to follow recipe and very simple ingredients!
My crumble top did not crisp up for me for some reason in the 20min cook time so I added 8 more minutes, but it still wasn’t crispy, so I broiled it for 2 minutes, and that did the trick (but I almost burnt it! lol)… I also used a pastry cutter & fork to blend butter, so perhaps the oats did not get the same individual coating of butter had I used my fingers? I did feel I blended it well though….
Anyhoo – The final taste was DELICIOUS!! But CAUTION: you may need to use self control as it is easy to want to eat more than 1 serving in a sitting – It was SO GOOD!!!
