Piquillo Pepper Preserve

  • 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 18 oz of whole piquillo pepper about 1 1/2 cans of 12.52 oz each
  • 3 oz of water
  • 1/2 cup of white vinegar


  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor. Process until everything is well incorporated, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Transfer the pepper mixture to a medium pot over medium-low heat and cook for 35-40 min, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat when the mixture resembles a jam texture. Allow to cool and transfer into jars.
