Ingredients

  • 2 cups (480 ml) Limeade (see notes)
  • ½ cup (145 g) Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 12 oz (340 g) vanilla Greek yogurt ( I used whole milk)
  • 2 teaspoons lime zest (optional)

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients together in a large measuring or a mixing bowl, preferably one with a pour spout. Whisk until well combined and smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into your popsicle molds and insert the popsicle sticks.
  • Freeze for about 5 - 6 hours or overnight (best).
  • To unmold, turn the popsicle molds sideways and run them under warm water for 5 -15 seconds.

Notes

Limeade: You can use homemade or store-bought. I like to use Simply Limeade®, but you can use your favorite brand or even make your own using Nellie and Joe's 100% Key Lime Juice for a truly key lime favor.
Greek Yogurt: I like to use whole milk Greek yogurt because the popsicles turn out creamier.
Store: To store popsicles, remove them from molds. Place on a large baking sheet or plate and freeze for a few minutes, about 15 – 20 min, until completely frozen again. Then place them in a freezer-friendly container or plastic bag. Freeze for up to 3 months.
Make Popsicles Without a Mold: If you don't have a popsicle mold, you can use a muffin tin. To do so, tightly wrap the top of the mold with aluminum foil (trying to prevent the foil from touching the popsicle mixture). Then poke your popsicle sticks through the foil, and they will stand upright!
Tip for Success:
  • Creamy consistency. The whole milk Greek yogurt helps make them super smooth and creamy.
  • Unmold. Make sure they are frozen hard before you try to unmold them. Overnight freezing is the safest bet. To unmold, turn the popsicle molds sideways and run them under warm water for 5 -15 seconds. Then, slowly and carefully remove each popsicle. If the popsicles are stuck in the mold, run them under the warm water for a few more seconds; make sure you don't melt the pops.
