These Slow Cooker Beer Pork Chops are spectacularly delicious! This recipe results in tender, flavor-packed pork chops that taste like a million bucks. You can make this tonight with any pork chops or even CHICKEN!
Cook on HIGH heat setting for 3 hours or on LOW for 6 hours, or until fork-tender. Remove pork chops from slow cooker, and place on a plate; cover to keep warm.
In a small bowl, stir cornstarch and water until well blended; stir into sauce in slow cooker. Return pork chops to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH heat setting 15 minutes or until thickened.
Thick pork loin chops (with bone) are the best cut for this recipe.
You could also use chicken - however, the cooking time may change a little depending on the thickness of the chicken. Cook for same time for boneless thigh fillets and/or 7oz breasts. For thicker cuts cook until a meat thermometer reads 165º Fahrenheit.
Freezing: Place pork chops and sauce in freezer containers. Cool and freeze. To reheat, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Heat through in a covered saucepan over medium low heat, gently stirring sauce and adding a little water if necessary.
