Spanish Style Garlic Shrimp

If you love Spanish tapas as much as I do you need to try this  Spanish Style Garlic Shrimp recipe (gambas al ajillo) They’re easy to make, flavorful, and will be ready in 15 minutes or less.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 10 cloves of garlic peeled and very finely chopped
  • 3 - 5 red thai peppers deseeded (optional)
  • 1 lb of shrimp peeled and deveined
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup of white wine
  • 1/4 cup of parsley finely chopped

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red thai peppers and saute for 2 minutes. Stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  • Add in shrimps and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook on one side until they turn pink. Add the wine and parsley, and flip the shrimp over, and cook until pink and wine is reduced; about 2 more minutes.
  • To serve scatter parsley over top and serve with a crusty bread, if desired.
