These Easy Frozen Banana Pops are the perfect little snack or great for adding to your meals for an extra boost! They’re super easy to make and are amazing in so many ways. Make a batch to store in the freezer and have them ready to serve when needed.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Peel the bananas, and slice them in half. Gently insert a stick through the cut end of each banana. Freeze 15 minutes.
Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil in a microwave-safe container. Set intervals of 30 sec at 50% power, until melt smooth. You can also melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over (not in) a pan of gently simmering water.
Dip banana, one piece at a time, in the melted chocolate, spooning on additional chocolate to cover.
Sprinkle each banana with crushed Shredded Wheat Frosted Mixed Berry, or any other topping of your choice. Let stand until chocolate is firm.
If not serving immediately, store them in an airtight container or zip-top plastic bag in the freezer, for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
If you are serving them straight from the freezer, allow them to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before eating, for better texture.Looking for more snack ideas?
