Frequently Asked Questions

What is Grenadine?

Grenadine is a nonalcoholic syrup traditionally made from pomegranate. It has a deep red color. It is a popular cocktail ingredient since it adds a delicious flavor and also gives a reddish or pink tint to mixed drinks.

Can I make this in advance?

Absolutely! You can make it the night before serving. Keep in the refrigerator. After 24 hours the fruit start to get a bit mushy thought.

Can I omit the Grenadine?

Yes, you can, but it adds a delicious flavor and nice color so I recommend using it if possible.

How long does it last?

I’d recommend enjoying it within 3 days of making it. I’ve found that the fruits lose a bit of their freshness any longer than that.

Storing Instructions

Store in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days, after that the fruit will start to get mushy.
